Founders Square Naples: A Guide to the Restaurants, Breakfast Spots and Everyday Errands
General education only — not legal, tax, financial, insurance, or other professional advice. Read the full disclaimer
Founders Square is the dining and service hub at the southeast corner of Immokalee Road and Collier Boulevard. For people considering inland North Naples, its appeal is practical: breakfast with a neighbor, dinner when you do not feel like cooking, or a hardware-store stop that does not require planning an entire afternoon.
The important distinction is between Founders Square, the broader mixed-use development, and The Pointe at Founders Square, its restaurant and retail plaza. The original developer places The Pointe, a roughly 38,000-square-foot plaza, at that southeast corner; the broader development also includes residential uses (Barron Collier Commercial, June 2021). This guide focuses on places with current official business pages, rather than treating old tenant announcements as a present-day directory.
The 30-second guide
- Where: Immokalee Road and Collier Boulevard, east of I-75.
- Breakfast: Skillets, 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Lunch or dinner: Fuji, Tacos & Tequila Cantina, Outback, South Street and Lake Park Diner.
- Everyday home errand: Sunshine Ace at 8850 Founders Square Drive, open seven days.
- Planning: use the individual business address. Several restaurants share 8845 Founders Square Drive; Lake Park Diner lists a different street.
- Home search: test the trip from the actual community gate at the time you would normally go out.
Where Founders Square fits on the North Naples map
Immokalee Road is the east-west reference point. Collier Boulevard is the north-south reference point. Founders Square occupies the southeast side of their intersection, making it an easy landmark when you are learning this part of Naples. Outback’s location page also places the center east of I-75.
Three street numbers do most of the work here, and they are easy to mix up:
- 8845 Founders Square DriveThe Pointe's restaurant row: Skillets (Unit 115), Fuji, Tacos & Tequila Cantina, Outback (Unit 130), South Street and Collier Urgent Care (Unit 100).
- 8850 Founders Square DriveSunshine Ace Hardware, Unit 235.
- 8856 Founders StreetLake Park Diner's Founders Square location, on a differently named street.
Think about your starting point before accepting a generic “close to restaurants” description. A home east of Collier Boulevard, a home farther west along Immokalee Road and a home reached through the Vanderbilt Beach Road corridor can all use Founders Square, but their actual turns and departure routes differ. A neighborhood label alone does not tell you how the journey will feel.
This is why I suggest adding an ordinary meal to a property-viewing day. Leave the community through its visitor entrance, navigate to the specific restaurant and then return. You learn more about daily convenience from that loop than from a straight-line distance on a listing.

Choosing a restaurant for the occasion
Breakfast with a neighbor: Skillets
Skillets gives Founders Square a morning use as well as an evening one. Its locations page lists breakfast and lunch service, with regular hours of 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily and possible holiday variations. That matters if you are arranging a late lunch: this is a daytime restaurant.
A sushi dinner: Fuji
Fuji’s location page identifies its Founders Square restaurant and publishes daily noon to 9 p.m. hours, with a weekday happy hour from 3 to 6 p.m. It gives this corner an additional dining choice when your group wants something different from a steakhouse or pizza meal.
Choose the restaurant before departing and share the location link with anyone meeting you there. With multiple businesses using the same street number, a named destination is more helpful than telling friends to “meet at 8845.”
A patio meal: Tacos & Tequila Cantina
Tacos & Tequila’s FAQ lists the Founders Square location, says reservations are accepted, and describes patio seating and dog-friendly service. Those details make it a candidate for a meal with visiting friends or an outing where outdoor seating matters. Confirm arrangements for your party when reserving.
A patio plan also needs a weather plan. Ask about covered seating and your indoor alternative if rain changes the evening. Choosing that in advance is easier than reorganizing a group at the door.
Dinner to take home: Outback
Outback’s location page lists curbside takeaway and online ordering. That creates a different use for Founders Square: picking up dinner on the way home instead of committing to a sit-down evening.
For takeout, work backward from the pickup time. Finish your other errands first, then collect the meal. A restaurant that fits your route can become part of the weekly routine even when you rarely eat inside.
Pizza and an evening with friends: South Street
South Street publishes a Founders Square menu with pizza, sandwiches, wings and other casual dishes, and its location page lists 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and until 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Its site also links a music lineup. Check the calendar for this location if a performance is the reason for going; an events page is not a guarantee of music every night.
For a conversation-focused dinner, ask whether an event is scheduled and where your group would sit. The same restaurant can suit different plans depending on the evening.
A mixed group: Lake Park Diner
Lake Park Diner’s menu includes salads and bowls, handhelds, children’s items, shakes and floats. Its Founders Square page lists 8856 Founders Street, a useful distinction from the 8845 Founders Square Drive address used by several other restaurants.
If you already know its Lake Park restaurant, double-check the selected location when ordering or sending directions. The name is familiar; the destination still needs to be specific.
Everyday errands: why the hardware store matters
Sunshine Ace’s Founders Square listing includes hardware, electrical, plumbing, paint, cleaning supplies, housewares, and lawn and garden departments, with hours of 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. For a homeowner, that makes the center useful beyond restaurants.
Imagine a Saturday when you need a small replacement part and have agreed to meet someone for breakfast. Those two tasks may fit one outing. Bring the old part, a photo or the relevant measurements, and check availability if the item is specific. Convenience disappears quickly when an avoidable second trip becomes necessary.
Collier Urgent Care also has a location in the restaurant plaza. Its page lists Unit 100 and daily hours of 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Having the address saved can be useful, especially for a new resident still learning local service locations.
The Publix at 15265 Collier Boulevard belongs to the separate Shoppes of Pebblebrooke center across the intersection. It is close, but it is not a Founders Square tenant, so give guests the right center name when you send directions.
Parking and arrival: plan for the specific business
Tacos & Tequila confirms parking at its locations, while Outback provides location-specific directions and curbside service information. Use those business links as your starting point. Neither a center name nor a common street number tells you which storefront or pickup area you need.
For a group meal, agree on the restaurant first. For a pickup, follow that business’s instructions. If someone needs a shorter walk, arrange a suitable drop-off and accessible parking plan with the destination rather than assuming the first available space will work.
Allow time to enter, find the correct business and park. The road trip and the arrival are separate parts of the visit. When evaluating a neighborhood, notice both.
What this means for Valencia Trails and Greyhawk buyers
Valencia Trails sits on Immokalee Road east of Collier Boulevard. For buyers considering that community, Founders Square is a relevant stop to include while evaluating the surrounding area. The question is how comfortably the trip fits your own weekly schedule.
If you are comparing it with Greyhawk at Golf Club of the Everglades, make the restaurant trip from each community’s actual entrance. Resist carrying one neighborhood’s travel assumptions into another.
I would also compare the kinds of outings you want. A breakfast or hardware errand at Founders Square serves a different purpose from an afternoon of browsing farther west. Our Mercato and Waterside Shops guide can help you build that broader picture, and the Naples area map shows where each sits relative to the communities you are considering.
