About Oak Colony

Living in Oak Colony

A tiny, exclusive enclave of just 18 luxury homes arranged around a central park and pond, with large lots and garden-park views.

Oak Colony is one of roughly three dozen gated enclaves inside The Vineyards — a 1,400-acre, family-owned golf community in North Naples founded in 1988. Like every neighborhood here, it sits behind the community gates with access to The Vineyards' parks and lakes, and membership in Vineyards Country Club is entirely optional — you buy the home, and decide on the club separately.

I'll confirm the exact figures, reserves, and rental rules for any specific Oak Colony home before you write an offer.
The club is optional

Golf, spa & racquet — only if you want it

Vineyards Country Club offers two championship 18-hole courses, a 70,000 sq ft clubhouse, a wellness spa, and a racquet center — on a non-equity, optional basis. Because the club is family-owned and debt-free, members face no capital assessments. Owners in Oak Colony can join, or skip it entirely.

Oak Colony questions, answered

How many homes are in Oak Colony, and what type are they?

Oak Colony has approximately 18 residences — luxury single-family homes on large lots, built 1996–1999.

Is Vineyards Country Club membership required to buy in Oak Colony?

No. Membership at Vineyards Country Club is entirely optional — the club is privately, family-owned and operates separately from the HOAs. About 75% of Vineyards residents choose to join, but you never have to buy a membership to own a home here.

What are the HOA dues and rental rules in Oak Colony?

HOA dues run approximately $250–$350/mo (approximate — verify the current figure). Leasing is typically 6-month minimum lease; the master association also bills annual dues for the gates, security, and community lakes. Confirm exact figures and any rental registration with the Oak Colony association before you offer.

Does The Vineyards have a CDD?

Most of The Vineyards sits in Flood Zone X (minimal risk), so flood insurance is generally not required — but always verify the specific home's flood zone and elevation, since it can vary parcel to parcel.
