23 communities have an amenity-campus aerial on their own page — these are a few. Imagery is public-domain USDA/USGS NAIP, refreshed every 2–3 years, so a brand-new community's courts may not appear until the next flight. Court layouts change; confirm the current amenity with me before you tour.
No courts at home? Where to play in public
For any community without its own courts — and for anyone who'd rather not pay for them inside an HOA — Naples has one of the deepest public pickleball scenes anywhere. The big public and semi-public venues:

The courts are more than a nice-to-have
The research on racquet-and-social sports is genuinely encouraging — the sports you play with other people are associated with the biggest gains in long-term studies (the often-cited Copenhagen study measured tennis, and it's an association, not a promise). The practical version: the biggest barrier to playing regularly is friction, and a five-minute walk to lit courts with an organized group removes it. That's why court access earns a real place on the checklist — not just the floor plan.

Among confirmed facilities, a cluster of communities lead with eight dedicated courts each — Valencia Trails, Grey Oaks, Caymas, The Vineyards, Treviso Bay, and Esplanade by the Islands — while Pelican Bay residents have 10 reserved courts at the new Pelican Bay Community Park. Valencia Sky's plan calls for nine, but its racquet club is still under construction. Counts change as communities expand, so confirm the current number for any specific home.
Do all Naples communities have their own pickleball courts?
No. Of the 36 communities in this guide, 16 have a confirmed dedicated-court count and 10 more offer pickleball but haven't published an exact number (I flag those to verify). Several older estate and beachfront neighborhoods — Old Naples, Pine Ridge Estates, The Moorings, Aqualane Shores, Coquina Sands, Seagate, Park Shore — have no neighborhood-wide facility by design, and residents there play at public courts like the 60-plus-court East Naples Community Park or Fleischmann Park downtown.
What if the community I like has no pickleball courts?
You are rarely far from a public court in Naples. The flagship East Naples Community Park has 60-plus courts; Veterans Community Park has 14; Pelican Bay Community Park has 20 (10 public); the Greater Naples YMCA has 10 (indoor + outdoor); and Fleischmann Park and Big Corkscrew Island Regional Park each have 6. For any community without its own courts, the table shows the nearest notable public option and roughly how far it is.
Are these dedicated pickleball courts or tennis courts lined for pickleball?
The count is dedicated, purpose-built pickleball courts only — not tennis courts striped for pickleball. Where a community appears to play on lined tennis courts (or the count is disputed), it is flagged as such rather than counted. This matters: a "pickleball community" with four lined tennis courts plays very differently from one with eight dedicated, lit courts and an organized open-play program.
Which 55+ communities in Naples have the best pickleball?
Valencia Trails leads today, with eight lighted, dedicated courts, an on-site pro shop, shaded tournament seating and one of the most active resident programs in Naples. GL Homes' newest 55+ community, Valencia Sky, plans nine lighted courts and a pro shop, but its racquet club is still under construction as of July 2026 — so treat it as planned rather than open. Court access and programming are a real quality-of-life factor for active-adult buyers; I can pull a shortlist matched to how you want to play.

Each community was researched against official HOA, club, and developer sources and cross-checked against court directories and current aerial imagery (as of July 2026). Where a source states a number we publish it; where pickleball is confirmed but the count isn't published, the community is marked "verify" rather than given a guessed number; and communities still building their courts are labeled "planned." Communities add courts often, so treat this as a comparison aid, not a guarantee — I confirm the exact current count for any home before you tour.
