Hiring countertops & stone in Naples
- Quartz on the lanai is a known mistake: UV yellows the resin and most manufacturer warranties exclude outdoor use. Granite, porcelain, and sintered surfaces handle Naples sun.
- Buying natural stone? Visit the distributor and tag your actual slabs. Granite and quartzite vary lot to lot, and 'like the sample' is not a contract term.
- White marble etches from citrus and wine; in a hard-water area like Collier, polished dark granite also shows mineral spotting around faucets. Ask about maintenance honestly before falling for a look.
