Hiring hurricane protection in Naples
- If the home sits empty during storm season, motorized roll-downs or impact glass beat removable panels — someone has to be physically present to install panels.
- Deployed shutters can block bedroom escape routes; code requires certain openings to remain operable from inside — ask the installer how the plan handles egress before you approve the layout.
- Condo associations adopt hurricane-protection specifications under Florida law; get written approval before ordering, since color and style are usually standardized.
